In February 2016 Guglielmo participated in an international “Call for artists” which had, as a possible outcome, an exhibition sponsored and organized by the Delaplaine Arts Center in Frederick in Maryland. Yje selection lasted a couple of months and the artist finally prevailed over several American colleagues, obtaining the coveted result that would have led to exhibit in one of the prestigious art school.

During his summer stay in the United States, Guglielmo took the opportunity to visit the exhibition structure in advance and to make some drawings of the pleasant town of Frederick.

The following year, 2017, the solo show yook place from 2 September to 22 October. Guglielmo and his family were able to attend the opening ceremony, just a few days before returning to Italy.
