Judges Choice
In March 2018 Guglielmo was awarded “Judges Choise” at the International Competition “ALLCityscapes” for the drawing “Harrisburg, PA: South Second Street” sketch which is part of the subjects that he then exhibited at the Harrisburg Art Association’s gallery in August.
In July 2017 Guglielmo and his family visited Philadelphia, Lancaster and Harrisburg in Pennsylvania. The first impression of the city was so positive; the Capital of the State impressed so much the artist that he decided to plan an exhibition in town soon. He was luck and had the chance to meet with the Director of the Harrisburg Art Association at the Gallery in 21 North Front Street. They both decided to continue their discussion during the winter via e-mail.
Guglielmo started to sketch some views in order to show them to the Association Staff and early in Spring 2018 he received the invitation to display his drawings during the months of August, September, October.
2017
In March 2018 the artist participated at the International Art Competition “ALLCityscapes” promoted by the Contemporary Art Gallery based in Annapolis, MD with 5 of his latest drawings of Harrisburg. He was awarded “Judges Choice” for the sketch “Harrisburg, PA: South Second Street”. This award is the most important he ever received since 2012 when he closed his architectural office and decided to come back to the earlier occupation as an artist.
On Saturday, August 4th, Guglielmo officially opened his Solo Exhibition at the Art Association of Harrisburg’s Gallery. His work was featured by The Burg News Magazine on the August 2018 Issue.

In June 2019 the artist was honored with the 4th Place at the “4th Annual Cityscape” int. contest by the Fusion Art Gallery, based in Palm Spring, CA.
Special Merit Artist
In February 2019 the sketch “Harrisburg, PA: Cityscape” was awarded Special Merit at the International Art Contest “2019 Cityscapes Exhibition”, organized by Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery.

In February 2021, Guglielmo’s drawing “Harrisburg, PA: South 2nd Street” was selected among the 40 finalists at the International Online Exhibition “The Painted Moment”, promoted by The Art Guild Gallery of Port Washington, in Manhasset, Long Island - NY.

Another placement for the Harrisburg design more appreciated by the juries. 109 participating artists from thirteen countries including China, United States, Germany, Austria, Poland, Russia, Canada, South Africa, United Arab Emirates...
Guglielmo was the only Italian to be selected for the online exhibition of the finalist works, deserving an Honorable Mention for both works presented (the second one is the glimpse of Ellicott City, Maryland).
